What is Vårlys?

Vårlys is a Burning Man-inspired, participatory event, located at Herøya in Steinsfjorden. We invite you to co-create a magical weekend on an island in the majestic Norwegian landscape. Vårlys is based on the 10 principles of Burning Man. Everything you experience at the event is provided by other participants like yourselves. The organization does not operate with a profit, and the entire event is based on volunteer work.

Age limit

Vårlys has an age limit of 20 years. However, it is allowed to bring dependent children - up to six years old. If you wish to participate and bring your child - please notify us at contact@frostlys.no.

Camping/sleeping arrangements

Vårlys will welcome participants to Herøya's large, grassy, green campgrounds. Bring a tent, portable shelter or set up a hammock in dedicated areas of the forest. If you have special needs you are welcome to get in touch with us and we will accommodate requests case by case.
